We have started our topic about water this half term. We are learning about all the different uses and properties of water, how much water there is on Earth, what creatures live in the water and how important it is to protect the clean water we have.
Our book this half term is called Lila and the Secret of Rain.
Here we are on World Book Day. Everyone did so well with their costumes. We had everything from Harry Potter to Captain America and even a Mary Poppins!
For Chinese New Year, we made our own Chinese cherry blossom pictures.
As part of our Snow and Ice topic, we made our own snow globes. We chose our own polar animal to draw inside and used oil pastels to draw them.
We read the story , The Princess and the White Bear King’ and used our imaginations to create our own version of the story. We made our own books with all our own illustrations.
As part of our superhero topic, we made up some superheroes of our own and gave them their own super powers.
We even met some superheroes!
We took a tour around London in a taxi.
Here we are flying at warp speed and battling with light sabres.

Diwali Dance Workshop - As part of the work our school has been doing around the festival of Diwali we were lucky enough to take part in a dance workshop. Our children learned a routine and performed it in groups to each other. They were taught the names of specific hand movements and used them in their dance routines.
